I don’t know if everyone just sort of assumed this or what, but it occurred to me yesterday that John had a date that night, which he probably bailed on…to take care of Sherlock.

Which is why John makes a wonderful boyfriend…to Sherlock, even if he doesn’t admit it yet. ;)

This would also explain why John can’t seem to keep a girlfriend.
